Riverside Center - Rentals

Riverside Center offers room rentals for all types of public and private events.  Call 724-2520 to check availability.

Please factor in your setup and tear down time when making your reservation.  

Garden Room: $50/hr

• Approx 45' X 48'
• up to 70 people comfortably
• Recently remodeled
• Ideal for baby showers, small group meetings, birthday parties, etc.

Harvest Hall: $100/hr

• Approx 90' X 60'
• Up to 350 people comfortably
• Ideal for large parties, community forums, etc.
• Large projection screen on north wall
• Kitchen Access

Whole Riverside Center

• Up to 450 people comfortably
• Ideal for wedding receptions, large birthday parties, fund raisers, community forums
• Large projection screen on north wall of Harvest Hall
• Kitchen Access

Non Profit Rentals (non-alcohol) during normal office hours at Riverside Center are FREE!  

Riverside Center office hours:

8am-4pm (Monday-Friday)

*Non profit rentals AFTER office hours are $20/hr. Reservations can be made online by selecting the $20/hr non profit rental rate. Proof of Non-Profit 501(c) documentation is required for all after hour non-profit rentals

Reservations at Riverside Center for events with alcohol must be made in person at the Parks and Recreation main office (231 E Monroe St). For complete details and rules, download the .pdf rental agreement below. Call 724-2520 to check availability.

The following rental fees for events with alcohol apply: 

• $200 non-refundable deposit (due at the time of reservation)
• $50/hr officer fee (2 officers required during rental)
• Rental Party is responsible for hiring a licensed bartending service to serve alcohol during the rental. Bartending service must file proper excise permits for the event and provide copies to Riverside Center. 

The Senior Luncheon is a carry in meal, with a monthly featured speaker/musician and fellowship. Participants must be at least 55 years old and a resident of Adams County. Cost is $5.00 per person, per year. The Senior Luncheon is held on the first Tuesday of each month from March through December at 11:30 am. For more info call Anita Miller at 260-580-3557.  

The American Red Cross has Volunteer opportunities at blood drives in Decatur for Blood Donor Ambassadors at the Riverside Center and Adams Memorial Hospital. Please go to www.redcross.org/volunteer and follow the steps to apply in Volunteer Connection. Once your application is completed and submitted we will contact you to discuss these opportunities and schedule training and get you started. The Decatur Flea Market is held on the 1st Sunday of every month, and sponsored by the Adams County Coin Club. Admission is free. Doors open at 7:00 am. To set up a booth or for more information call Carla Mattingly at (260)517-8182.

The Decatur Artisan Craft Market showcases fabric crafts, jewelry, wood & metal decor, baked goods, honey, soaps, skin care products, paintings, seasonal decor, clothing & accessories, handmade cards, and much more. The Decatur Artisan Craft Market is held every 2nd Saturday (October through April ) from 9am-1pm. Located just north of Riverside Center off of Jackson Street, the compost site is open to the public 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Drop off your yard waste or pick up landscaping mulch free of charge. The city of Decatur provides assistance loading mulch with a bucket loader from 3-5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 8am-10am on Saturdays.
