Preschool level 2 will help children gain greater independence in their skills and develop more confidence in and around water: Enter water by stepping in; exit water using ladder, steps or side; bobbing; open eyes under water and retrieve submerged objects; front and back floats and glides; recover from a front or back float. Roll from front to back and back to front; tread water using arm and leg actions; combined arm and leg actions on front and back; finning arm action on back. All skills are done with support.
Parents, there is lap swimming offered at the same time! So grab your suit and get some exercise while your child learns to swim.
$3.00 or 1 pool coupon per time.

Adams County Service Complex- Gymnastics Room
Open format practice, Supervisors/instructors will be there to help if they are asked. No formal class structure. Come and go as you please. Co-Ed. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Fees and charges set in this website are subject to approval by the activity’s correlating Park Board (City or County). Class times and/or dates are subject to change at any time. Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel activities due to lack of registration.
REFUND POLICY *
All refunds are subject to Park Board approval at the next Park Board Meeting. City and County Park Boards meet the second Monday of each month. Refund checks are sent out approximately 7-10 days if approved. Refunds in the form of a credit may be instead applied to your account in place of a refund check*.
No refunds will be given after the second class meeting or for any programs or events with one class meeting only. The Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel any registration for any participant that does not meet the required age or grade level specified for a program.
*Credit Card processing fees ($2 per transaction) are non refundable
*Program T-shirt costs (if applicable) are non-refundable ($10 per T-shirt)

Participation in or attendance at programs or events sponsored by the Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation Department constitutes the voluntary consent of the participant or attendee to be photographed, filmed or videotaped by a department representative. and the reproduction and use of all such photographs, digital images, films and likenesses for publicity purposes in publications, brochures, advertisements, promotional and marketing materials and all other media venues.
