Cardboard Boat Race
Fun and creativity meets cardboard and duct tape!
2019 Race Information
Sunday August 25th, at the Decatur City Pool
THIS EVENT IS FREE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS!
· Boat race begins at approximately 6:30 p.m. followed by the awards.
· Riders MUST check in at the pool with their boat between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.
· Judging for creative design and costumes will take place from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
· Participants are ENCOURAGED to dress in accordance with their boat theme.
Awards will be given out for the following:
- Titanic Award (fastest Sinking)
- Fastest Boat (youth)
- Fastest Boat (Adult)
- Best Designed Boat
- People's Choice
- Lifeguard's Choice
- Best Themed Costumes
