Splash into Summer with Decatur Park & Recreation Swim Lessons!

We're excited to announce that swim lessons are back this summer and we're ready to help your little ones build confidence, have fun, and stay safe around the water!

All Levels Include Water Safety Education!

Every lesson includes age-appropriate instruction on being safe in and around all types of water--pools, lakes, rivers and even bathtubs! Our instructors focus on building respect for the water while still keeping the lessons upbeat and fun.

Limited Spots Available---Register Early

Sessions fill up fast, so don't wait. We are hoping to offer more classes for our second session in July, so stay tuned! Give your child the gift of confidence, safety, and joy this summer with Decatur Parks and Rec swim lessons!

Lap Swim

Parents, there is lap swimming offered at the same time! So grab your suit and get some exercise while your child learns to swim.

$3.00 or 1 pool coupon per time.

The department supports all efforts towards quality leisure services and thrives on the challenges set forth to meet the interests and needs of all citizens.

Join us at Decatur-Adams County Parks & Recreation for a variety of community events throughout the year. From outdoor movie nights to seasonal festivals, there is something for everyone to enjoy and participate in.

Fees and charges set in this website are subject to approval by the activity’s correlating Park Board (City or County). Class times and/or dates are subject to change at any time. Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel activities due to lack of registration.

REFUND POLICY *

All refunds are subject to Park Board approval at the next Park Board Meeting. City and County Park Boards meet the second Monday of each month. Refund checks are sent out approximately 7-10 days if approved. Refunds in the form of a credit may be instead applied to your account in place of a refund check*.

No refunds will be given after the second class meeting or for any programs or events with one class meeting only. The Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel any registration for any participant that does not meet the required age or grade level specified for a program.

*Credit Card processing fees ($2 per transaction) are non refundable
*Program T-shirt costs (if applicable) are non-refundable ($10 per T-shirt)

PHOTO/VIDEO MAGE USE CONSENT AND RELEASE
Participation in or attendance at programs or events sponsored by the Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation Department constitutes the voluntary consent of the participant or attendee to be photographed, filmed or videotaped by a department representative. and the reproduction and use of all such photographs, digital images, films and likenesses for publicity purposes in publications, brochures, advertisements, promotional and marketing materials and all other media venues.
